Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Requirements
✔ Active CNA Certification in the State of Maine
✔ Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program
✔ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
✔ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
✔ Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
✔ Current TB Test/Screening as required
✔ Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake, and output
Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Prepare patients for therapy sessions and transport them as needed
Assist nurses and physicians with treatments and procedures
Maintain patient rooms, equipment, and supplies
Follow infection prevention and control protocols
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Document care accurately and timely using facility systems
Promote patient safety, comfort, and well-being
