Important:CNA certification and SAMM training are required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Help with mobility and transfers using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Follow infection control practices, facility protocols, and HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification – required
- High school diploma or GED – required
- CPR certification – required
- Current physical exam and TB test (within 12 months) – required
- At least 1 year of CNA experience – preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work effectively as part of a team
- Must pass background check and drug screening
