A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). CNAs assist patients with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, and weight.
Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients using proper safety techniques and equipment.
Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing staff.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and daily activities.
Assist patients with meals and monitor food and fluid intake when required.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
