You'll gain hands-on experience in neuro-rehabilitation care--ideal for CNA's with long-term growth in mind.

  • Environment: Skilled Long-Term Care     
    • Location: Polk City, Iowa
    • Hours: 6:00PM-6:30AM or 6:00AM-6:30PM (3 shifts/week) rotating holidays & every 3rd weekend required

OR

  • Environment: Post-Acute Care     
    • Location: Ankeny, Iowa
    • Hours: 6:00AM-6:30PM or 6:00AM-2:30PM or 2:00PM-10:30PM or 6:00PM-6:30AM (3-5shifts/week)

PRN Opportunities available on ALL SHIFTS

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

  • Provide direct, personalized care under licensed nurse supervision.
  • Support persons served with activities of daily living (meals, hygiene, socializing).
  • Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifts.
  • Perform range of motion exercises as directed by therapy staff.
  • Complete and report safety checks and vital information to nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Help persons served achieve their highest quality of life.

IMPORTANT: Please note that our orientation process (typically up to 1 month) may require working days or shifts outside of what will be your permanent schedule.

    Requirements of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

    • Current Iowa CNA certification
    • Must be 18 years of age (required to operate mechanical lifts)
    • Ability to maintain CPR certification (training available if not certified)
    • Ability to maintain mandatory reporter certifications (training available if not certified)
