This unique opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals while serving an underserved patient population in a safe, structured clinical environment.
As a CNA, you'll work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care and support, including:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Monitor and document vital signs, height, weight, and patient observations.
Report changes in patient condition or behavior to licensed nursing staff.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Prepare exam and treatment areas.
Assist nurses with routine procedures and patient care activities.
Collect and transport specimens according to facility protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Keep patient care areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Rotating 8-hour evening shift:2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Every other weekend required
Assigned holidays required
Active Wisconsin CNA Certification (or eligibility for reciprocity)
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
High school diploma or GED
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a secure correctional healthcare environment
Experience in correctional healthcare, hospital, long-term care, behavioral health, rehabilitation, or medical-surgical settings
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
