The Opportunity As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in supporting both patients and providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. You’ll help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and a safe, well-prepared care setting. This role blends hands-on patient care, clinical support, and operational coordination, making you an essential part of the care team.
What You’ll Do Patient Care & Support
Assist patients by providing information, education, and general support
Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs and history collection
Counsel patients by relaying physician orders and answering procedural questions
Communicate with patients through triage and telephone encounters
Clinical Operations & Patient Flow
Verify patient information, including medical history, medications, allergies, and visit purpose
Support providers during office procedures, including preparing procedure trays and maintaining sterile fields
Report patient history summaries to providers to support efficient care delivery
Compliance & Documentation
Perform specimen collection and ordering in compliance with OSHA and COLA/CLIA standards
Maintain accurate medical records, including diagnostic and procedure coding
Safeguard patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all regulations
Equipment & Inventory Management
Maintain medical supplies inventory, place orders, and verify receipts
Ensure equipment functionality through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Team Collaboration & Professionalism
Work collaboratively with clinical staff and assist in onboarding new employees
Maintain strong working relationships through clear and professional communication
Uphold a clean, professional appearance and provide compassionate patient care
Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Support overall clinic operations and take on additional duties as needed

Qualifications
High School diploma preferred
Completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent
Previous hospital experience preferred with acceptable references
Must pass a pre-employment nursing assistant test
BLS certification required
Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethics
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain a safe environment and assist with patient and equipment transport
