Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Logan CC in Lincoln, Illinois.
CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.
Pay Rate: $22/hr + applicable shift differential
Shift: Evenings (3p-11p) OR Nights (11p-7a) are available
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent • CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required • CNA licensure in Maryland required • Training, experience, or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician, or mental health worker preferred • One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional setting preferred • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
