    Job Summary

    y Department team as an Emergency Care Tech! As a CNA in our ED you will be one of the first clinical employees to be a part of the patients care! This position is essential in providing high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist nurses by gathering patient data through observation, obtaining vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing.

    • Perform routine patient care procedures safely and competently.

    • Ensure timely communication and documentation, including reporting significant patient changes to nursing staff.

    • Provide frequent rounding and fall prevention interventions; remain with high-risk patients when needed.

    • Support patient flow through timely admissions, transfers, and discharges, including documentation and removal of IV locks.

    • Collaborate with nursing staff to support a positive and efficient care environment.

    Qualifications

    • Current Maryland CNA License

    • Basic Life Support (BLS)

    • 3 years ED experience required
