TREO MedStaff is currently looking for CNA/Care Takers (Night Shift) for a client we have in Mandeville, LA.
The primary purpose of our Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) Care Partner position is to assist elders in their routine needs and daily activities
Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
Assist residents with IADLs.
Ability to prepare residents for activities in the community, including medical appointments.
Helps prepare residents for meals and snacks and performs after-meal care.
Provides basic room care.
Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
Ability to observe and report the presence of skin breakdowns.
Reports all accidents and incidents immediately to their supervisor.
Notifies the nurse of changes in the resident’s condition and follows through until appropriate action is taken.
Reviews task/assignment sheets daily and gives a thorough verbal report to the oncoming shift.
Treats residents and their families with respect and dignity.
Interacts with residents, families, co-workers, managers, and other departmental staff in a kind, knowledgeable, and friendly manner.
Reports to work on time and as scheduled. Completes work within the designated time.
Completes in-service and returns in a timely fashion.
Represents the organization positively and professionally.
Qualifications:
1-year experience (preferred)
Pass background check
Payrate: $16.00 per hour
