Pay: $24–$26/hr ($900–$975 weekly) based on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care and rehabilitation environment. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, support nursing staff with patient care tasks, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and follow block scheduling requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, grooming, ambulation, and transfers
Support patients with mobility exercises and limb-strengthening activities as directed
Assist nursing staff with routine medical procedures and post-surgical care
Monitor and document patient vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
Collect urine, sputum, and stool samples as directed
Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
Assist patients during meal service and provide feeding assistance when needed
Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights in accordance with patient rights standards
Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized patient care areas
Assist licensed nursing staff during emergency situations
Transport patients to appointments and assist with clerical duties when required
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based care processes
Required Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Certifications & Licensure
Active CNA certification/license required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required
TB two-step screening required
Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination required
Required Skills & Experience
Previous CNA experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
Ability to work alternating 36-hour and 48-hour weeks
Weekend availability required
Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow care procedures
Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and therapeutic care practices
