Assignment Details:

  • Job Type: Temp to Perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs)
  • Duration: 6+ Months

Schedule:

  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
  • Employment Type: Part Time

Position Overview:
This role involves providing direct, non-professional nursing care to patients/residents in a hospital, infirmary, long-term care, or domiciliary care setting. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for supporting daily patient care, rehabilitation activities, and maintaining a safe living environment for both ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide hands-on assistance with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities
  • Rehabilitation Support: Assist and encourage participation in prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities
  • Care Delivery: Perform duties in accordance with established healthcare regulations and instructions from licensed professionals
  • Monitoring: Observe patient conditions and report updates to registered nurses and physicians
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely care records
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure patient/resident rooms are clean, safe, and properly maintained
  • Training Participation: Engage in on-the-job and formal training to maintain care standards

Work Environment:

  • Setting: Hospital, infirmary, long-term care unit, or domiciliary care unit
  • Supervision: Work is performed under close supervision of a licensed professional supervisor
  • Independence: Routine duties are expected to be performed independently after training

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Six (6) months experience as an Aide Trainee , OR
  • One (1) year of paid experience caring for geriatric or physically ill patients/residents
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification:
  • Must be registered and certified as a Nurse Aide (for Long-Term Care Unit assignments per state requirements)
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills , including Microsoft Office

Additional Requirements:

  • Compliance: Must adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with lifting, moving, and supporting patients
  • Patient Interaction: Daily direct patient/resident contact required
  • Verification: Some assignment-specific details may require confirmation with an Account Manager
