Certified Nursing Aide(CNA) – Hospice Care - Full -Time

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider in in the DFW Metroplex, to <\/span><\/span>hire a compassionate Hospice Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) dedicated to providing exceptional end -of -life care in the comfort of patients' homes.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Reporting to the HHA Supervisor, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hands -on personal care, promote patient comfort and dignity, and support families during every stage of the hospice journey.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

What You'll Do<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation following agency policies and procedures<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support nutrition, hydration, comfort, and daily living activities<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful home environment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Follow individualized care plans, infection control practices, hospice & documentation standards<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Protect patient privacy and respect personal property<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform assigned treatments and procedures according to agency policies<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Uphold the organization's mission, values, and standards of quality care<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform other duties as assigned<\/span><\/span>

  What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>

  Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • High school diploma or equivalent<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Completion of an approved HHA/CNA training program/competency evaluation<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HHA/CNA in hospice, home health, long -term care, hospital, or nursing home preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English & manage time effectively<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., assist with patient mobility, and work in home environments<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Must pass background check, competency evaluation, TB test, and meet health screening requirements<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
