Rate of pay: $32.81/hour + DOE + Shift Differential (Base Pay of $29.17 include 12.5% per diem premium)
Summary
Performs various resident care activities and related non professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the residents; assists in maintenance of safe and clean environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides care to the residents of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF/ECC).
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine resident's needs.
- Bathes, dresses, undresses and provides other Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care to residents.
- Provides dental care.
- Serves and collects food trays documents meal percentage and feeds residents requiring help.
- Transports residents to multiple activities.
- Turns and repositions residents, safely, to prevent bedsores based on plan of care.
- Completes hourly patient safety rounds.
- Completes assigned showers, weights and range of motion (ROM).
- Changes bed linens and helps maintain resident's room and clothes.
- Directs visitors and answers telephone.
- Documents all care and observations accurately and thoroughly and timely.
- Possesses effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Participates in departmental in-services and training, growth and development.
- Responsible for protecting self, facility, residents, and members of the staff by following security policies/procedures.
- Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
- Complies with System policies and procedures.
- Other duties as may be assigned.

Required Licenses/Certifications
California Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
BLS: Employee will be enrolled in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on their previous BLS certification).
