Position Summary
The Certified Nurse Aide provides direct care and daily support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. CNAs work closely with nurses and other team members to ensure each resident receives personalized, compassionate care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence at all times
- Build meaningful relationships with residents through compassionate, resident-centered care
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Help create a positive and engaging environment that enhances the life and well-being of elders
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans
- Work collaboratively with nurses and fellow team members to ensure high-quality care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Commitment to supporting the dignity and well-being of elders
