University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a growing women’s health team in Easton, Maryland.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery care in a supportive, collaborative environment with strong physician and system-level support.
Practice Details
- Full-scope midwifery practice in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians
- Comprehensive care across the lifespan:
- Prenatal care
- Labor and delivery
- Postpartum care
- Well-woman gynecology
- Delivery coverage at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton
- Shared call schedule for work-life balance

- Strong interdisciplinary support team
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive women’s health and maternity care
- Manage labor and delivery in collaboration with OB/GYN team
- Conduct prenatal and postpartum visits
- Provide well-woman gynecologic care
- Support patient education and family-centered care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $123,248 – $156,006 annually
- Based on Advanced Practice Provider experience
- Productivity-based incentives

Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner and RN licenses (or eligibility)
- Certified Nurse Midwife certification required
- BLS certification (required prior to patient care)
- DEA/CDS eligibility
- Midwifery experience preferred but not required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
