University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a growing women’s health team in Easton, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery care in a supportive, collaborative environment with strong physician and system-level support.


Practice Details

  • Full-scope midwifery practice in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians
  • Comprehensive care across the lifespan:
    • Prenatal care
    • Labor and delivery
    • Postpartum care
    • Well-woman gynecology
  • Delivery coverage at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton
  • Shared call schedule for work-life balance
  • EPIC EMR
  • Strong interdisciplinary support team

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive women’s health and maternity care
  • Manage labor and delivery in collaboration with OB/GYN team
  • Conduct prenatal and postpartum visits
  • Provide well-woman gynecologic care
  • Support patient education and family-centered care
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $123,248 – $156,006 annually
    • Based on Advanced Practice Provider experience
  • Productivity-based incentives

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
  • Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner and RN licenses (or eligibility)
  • Certified Nurse Midwife certification required
  • BLS certification (required prior to patient care)
  • DEA/CDS eligibility
  • Midwifery experience preferred but not required
  • New graduates encouraged to apply
