At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our CNAs are at the heart of patient care. We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our clinical team and provide high-quality, hands-on care to patients across all populations.

What You'll Do

  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and transportation
  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other delegated tasks
  • Report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment
  • Keep call lights within reach and pathways clear for patient safety
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Provide emotional support and culturally sensitive care
  • Assist with specimen transport as needed
  • Participate in quality initiatives such as hourly rounding and turning programs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • LA City Fire Card certification within 30 days of employment
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MOAB) training within 30 days of employment
  • One year of acute patient care experience preferred
