Join the Adult Acute Care team at Scott's Hill Medical Center, Novant Health's newest coastal hospital. As a CNA on our 36-bed adult acute care unit, you'll work alongside an engaged nursing team caring for patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs while helping create exceptional experiences during some of the most important moments of their hospital stay.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Night Shift
Status: Full-Time (36 hours/week)

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience:
    • One year preferred.
    • One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Completion of Nurse Assistant I program, required.
    • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
    • Medication Safety - AME, required.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation

What You'll Do:
  • Help patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their stay by assisting with mobility, hygiene, meals, and daily care needs.
  • Serve as an important member of the care team by monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition, behavior, and mobility.
  • Support nurses in delivering care to a diverse adult acute care population with varying medical and surgical diagnoses.
  • Build relationships with patients and families while providing compassionate care during overnight hours.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture where collaboration, communication, and patient-centered care drive everything we do.
