Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team on day shift. In this role, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety while promoting independence and quality of life. CNAs play a vital role in creating a warm, respectful, and engaging environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide support during meals, including assistance with feeding as needed
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical condition, behavior, or mood to the nursing team
- Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, especially those in Memory Care
- Follow individualized care plans and document care provided accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
- Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to provide exceptional care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Nebraska in good standing
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care is preferred (but not required)
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, reposition, and assist residents as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
