Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Document patient care and progress in electronic health records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Participate in training and continuing education to stay current in medical technology.
Requirements:
  • Valid state certification or license as a Medication Technician.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, especially in long-term care.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
