The Army Residence Community (ARC) is seeking a compassionate and reliable PRN Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support our Assisted Living team. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible scheduling while making a positive impact in the lives of seniors.

As a PRN CMA, you will assist with medication administration and resident care while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our residents.

Position Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
  • Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition.
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident information.
  • Communicate resident concerns and status changes to the nursing team.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
  • Maintain medication carts, supplies, and records in a safe and organized manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care to residents and families.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
  • Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or senior healthcare preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.
