Job Summary: Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or Administrator.
Responsibilities: • Performs direct patient care duties as assigned. • Triage and rooming of patients. • Provides for patient safety. • Possesses the ability to perform day-to-day clerical tasks and related duties. • Participates in ongoing educational activities. • Completes assigned goals. • Performs registration duties, including scheduling, verifying demographics, and answering patient calls.
Specifications: Experience: Minimum Required: Approved nursing or medical assistant course. Preferred: Minimum of one year experience.
Education: Minimum Required: Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
Skill in: • Communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral, and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. • Writing legibly and recording information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
Preferred Skills: • Training: Approved nursing or medical assistant course. • Special Skills: Computer literacy. Maintain Certification.
Licensure: Minimum Required: Certified by the following organizations NCCT, NAHP, NHA, AMT, AAMA, or AAH ONLY or obtain within 6 months of hire date.
