Certified Medical Assistant - Student Health Center

Floating between Springfield Middle School and Northwestern Performing Arts Academy.

Hours : Monday – Friday 7:15a – 3:45p (30-minute lunch)

$19.60+ an hour (with experience)

You will have the opportunity to interact with the students and build a trustworthy atmosphere. Additionally, we offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Weekend and holidays off! 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:  (This list is not all inclusive.)

1. Obtains accurate patient data
2. Documents in the medical record
3. Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
4. Assists provider during exams and procedures
5. Administers medications, per written order
6. Provides educational materials to patient/family
7. Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
8. Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
9. Performs CLIA waived testing
10. General office duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Seasonal Flu vaccine
- High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- Certification as a medical assistant is required
- Current BCLS certification and experience in pediatric primary care preferred
