Summary
Position Highlights: Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department.

Credentials and Qualifications (per Medical Assistant level):
Medical Assistant Trainee:
High school diploma or GED, required.
BLS, required.
Completion of Medical Assistant Program.
CMA Certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
Clinical Assistant:
High school diploma or GED, required.
BLS, required.
1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting or equivalent role.
CMA Certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
Certified Medical Assistant:
High school diploma or GED, required.
BLS, required.
CMA certification, required.
Certified Medical Assistant II:
High school diploma or GED, required.
BLS, required.
CMA certification, required.
2 years of Medical Assistant experience, required.
