Job Description:

Monday - Friday 7am-7pm 40 hours/week and schedule will vary within those hours, must be willing to travel within Marion County. Additional compensation and mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities:

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients charts.
• Assists with treatments ordered by the provider under supervision.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Performs basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Orders and stocks supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Documents provider encounters with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.
• Transcribes patient orders for laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
• Provides patient education and explanations of risks and benefits.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to perform procedures and treatments.
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation of all patient interactions and medical procedures.
• Ensures compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience: • Customer service experience in medical office [Preferred]
