Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required and Medical Assistant, Home Care preferred and NYS Phlebotomy certification preferred
Education:
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant from an approved accredited organization, for example- The Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or The National Healthcareer Association (NHA).Completion of a Medical Assistant program required High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
One year of experience in a medical practice, home care, or similar setting required Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. preferred Skilled multitasker with a patient-focused mindset who thrives in providing patient-centered care preferred
