This is a medical and diagnostic facility located in Glendale, Queens. Currently, we are seeking a Part Time Certified Medical Assistant with front desk experience & at least 2 years of experience. Person must be a great team player, have great communication skills, able to MULTI-TASK & be organized and detail oriented. This office is completely paperless so candidate must be computer savvy.

Bilingual: SPANISH speaking a PLUS!

EMR: Tebra (formerly Kareo)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Recording patient’s vital signs (e.g. Blood Pressure, Pulse, Respiratory Rate, Height, Weight, etc.)
- Recording patient’s full medical history and reason for each visit. 
- Performing diagnostic tests such as: 
- EKG, 
- Blood Draw, 
- Centrifuge, 
- Spirometry, 
- Urinalysis, 
- Nebulizer Treatments, etc.
- Cleaning and preparing exam rooms for patients.
- Maintaining inventory of all medical supplies and making sure all exam rooms are stocked accordingly. 
- Preparing patient’s for necessary procedures.
- Preparing all necessary documents prior to the visit (labs, radiology and pathology reports, etc.)
- Assisting with front desk duties when needed (answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking - - patients in and out, providing patient’s with necessary referrals, assisting with prior authorizations.)
- Maintaining proper communication with all physicians.
