Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Greet and prepare patients fororthopedicexaminations and procedures
Record patient history, vital signs, and orthopedic-specific information
Instruct patients on pre-operative (pre-op)and post-operative(post-op)care and medication regimens
Help in orthopedic procedures, including bandaging, splinting, and wound care
Facilitate diagnostic tests, imaging tests(e.g., X-rays, MRIs) and ensureaccuratedocumentation of results
Prepare andmaintainexamination rooms, including sterilization and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment
Schedule patient appointments, manage charts, and update(ElectronicMedicalRecords)EHR systems with patient information
Qualifications:

1. Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.
2. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
3. Work experience in health care preferred.
4. Medical Assistant Certification.
5. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
