Job Description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for a travel assignment in Santa Monica, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting clinical operations, assisting providers, and delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Assist with scheduling procedures and imaging appointments
• Obtain prior authorizations
• Support physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care activities

Requirements

• Active BLS Certification
• National Medical Assistant Certification required
  Accepted Certifications:
  • AAMA
  • AMT
  • AMCA
  • NCCT
  • NHA
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Pending licenses/certifications not accepted
• RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
