Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role requires a proactive individual who can efficiently manage patient interactions, perform clinical procedures, and maintain strong collaboration with healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, check-in, and room patients in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Perform phlebotomy and blood draws
- Administer vaccines and assist with clinical procedures
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Provide support for both front and back office operations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Collaborate effectively with providers and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
- CMA Certification required
- BLS or CPR Certification required
- Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
- Hands-on experience with EMR systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a high-volume clinical setting
