    This role is ideal for a dependable, patient-focused Medical Assistant who thrives in a professional outpatient setting and enjoys a balance of front-office responsibilities and clinical support.

    Position Overview

    As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of the clinic team and often the first point of contact for patients. You will support nurses and providers while ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and efficient patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcome and check in patients professionally
    • Obtain and document vital signs and medical history
    • Prepare infusion suites for patient visits
    • Assist providers during exams and procedures
    • Administer injections and medications per provider orders
    • Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
    • Schedule appointments and manage patient check-out
    • Answer phones and support front-office operations
    • Organize medical records, referrals, and authorizations
    • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems
    • Deliver excellent customer service in a patient-centered environment


    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Required
    • BLS Certification – Required
    • Minimum 2 years of recent MA experience
    • Experience taking vital signs and assisting in clinical settings
    • Front-office experience (scheduling, phones, patient flow)
    • Insurance verification and authorization experience
    • Strong EMR/EHR proficiency
    • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
