Certified Medical Assistant - Clinic - Walk -in - Full -Time | Days

The Staff Pad is excited to partner with a reputed hospital in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a compassionate and detail -oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join a thriving Orthopedic Clinic team.<\/span><\/span>

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll help ensure smooth clinic operations through clerical support and exceptional patient care.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Schedule: Full -Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Room patients, verify patient information and prepare them for appointments<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Record medical histories, vital signs, and patient information in the EHR<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist providers during exams and in -office procedures<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, provide wound care, and conduct required in -office testing<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical equipment<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Schedule appointments, provide financial counseling, and verify insurance information<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Answer and triage calls, assist with referrals, and ensure timely follow -up<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform clerical tasks, process paperwork and managing electronic files in AthenaClinicals<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

   What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • High school diploma or equivalent required<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Accredited Medical Assisting program graduate preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • At least 1 year of  Medical Assistant experience in a clinic or medical office experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Current MA certification or equivalent experience required; CPR certification required within two weeks of hire<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    <\/p>

    • Ability to follow directions, manage time, and work effectively under pressure<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professionalism, empathy, and discretion<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
