What You’ll Do:

• Welcome and prepare patients for exams, collect medical histories, and record vital signs
• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with examinations and procedures
• Perform phlebotomy, collect and label lab specimens, and conduct routine lab tests
• Administer specified medications and injections as directed
• Provide wound care and patient education on medications and preventive care
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Perform basic diagnostic X-rays and support administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and patient follow-up

 Preferred Qualifications:

•         Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a current NHA Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA required)

•         2 years working as a Certified Medical Assistant and 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred

•         Current BLS/CPR certification (must provide official certification card)

•         Valid Alabama Driver’s License & Insurable Driving Record 

 Minimum Requirements:

•         Current Medical Assistant Certification

•         Current BLS/CPR certification (must provide official certification card)

•         Valid Alabama Driver’s License & Insurable Driving Record
