Seeking an experienced Certified Lymphedema Occupational Therapist to provide specialized care for patients with lymphedema and related conditions. Responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to help patients improve functional abilities and independence with daily living and work-related activities impacted by illness, injury, or disability. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care and education.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
Evaluate a wide variety of patient types and identify physical dysfunction and functional capabilities to facilitate appropriate treatment of patients.
Establish and implement patient focused treatment program with regular follow-up to achieve maximum functional improvement with efficiency.
Patient documentation is thorough and timely, enhancing communication and ensuring completion of Medical Record.
Provides patient education to facilitate patient rehabilitation.
Patient billing is appropriate and accurately reflects the services provided for each therapy session to reflect accurate billing of services.
Participates in the clinical instruction of students to facilitate their education and promote the profession and department.
Assists with program development, including department programs, when indicated to assist with the development of marketing strategies and provide input to the coordinators of these programs.
Demonstrates commitment to personal growth and clinical excellence.
Provides appropriate care specific to the age of the patient, to ensure understanding and comfort level of Treatment, as outlined in the department Population Specific Competency Checklist.
Demonstrates responsibility with all job related duties.
Attitude and communication approach reflects the core values of the Rehab department.
