Certified Line Technician Job Responsibilities
Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services
Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Document work performed clearly and accurately
Communicate findings as needed with service advisors
Maintain efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with shop policies
Participate in ongoing training and certification requirements

Certified Line Technician Qualifications
Automotive technician experience required
Current manufacturer or ASE certifications preferred
Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and technical repair skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑oriented environment
Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre‑employment drug screen.
