Your expertise will help guide a manageable caseload of students, utilizing a blend of pull-out and push-in service models. You'll be instrumental in creating engaging, adaptive instruction tailored to each child's needs, helping them achieve their highest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current state certification as a Special Education Teacher for early childhood or PreK-K
- Valid teaching license in Special Education
- Experience working with early childhood caseloads strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver individualized and group instruction using both pull-out and push-in service models
- Design and implement IEPs and provide progress updates to families and staff
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
- Partner closely with a co-teacher to effectively manage the caseload
- Liaise with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Track student progress using data-driven assessment tools
