The Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) is an active member of Spurwink Mental Health Center's Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and works in a seamless manner across each of its' adult psychiatric services.
DUTIES:
Engage program participants through direct contact and support.
Coach participants towards developing satisfying, hopeful, and fulfilling lives as defined by the program participant.
Maintain records, EHR, and documentation as required by Spurwink or State Agencies.
Creates and maintains working relationships with community health providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification and/or Certified Recovery Coach certification preferred. Peer support work experience required.
