With the support of the Rimkus staff, you will manage, plan, coordinate, conduct, and complete investigations to address complex questions.The salary range for this position is $83,300 to $124,900,dependent on education, experience, and certifications/licensure.Responsibilities:Investigate and analyze existing conditions or historic events in residential, commercial, industrial, and public venuesEvaluate and control exposure to health hazards such as noise, air quality, soot tracing, mold, asbestos, moisture mapping, and other subjects.Operate sampling and testing equipment.Communicate with clients regarding project scope, schedule, and budgetPrepare oral and written reports that document your findings, analysis, and conclusionsYou may be required to provide testimony in deposition and/or trialYou will be required to travel locally as well as occasionally on overnight assignmentsQualifications:4-year degree in a science or engineering field5-10 years of relevant work experienceMust be a Certified Industrial HygienistStrong regulatory experience specific to Federal and/or state OSHA regulationsThe ideal candidate would have knowledge of or experience in building sciencesYou must possess strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to a broad audienceYou must be able to perform with minimal oversightYou must be able to lift 30 lbsYou must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.Although this position is remote, you must reside in the Richmond, DC, Baltimore, or Northern VA areas.
