Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor (Adjunct Pool)

This is an adjunct faculty pool for teaching in the Allied Health Occupations department. The pool will remain open until June 2025 unless positions are no longer needed. Applications will be reviewed and candidates will be contacted and interviewed as positions become available.

Responsible for content delivery of assigned Medical Assistant courses, providing direct supervision and assessing progress of assigned medical assistant students in a classroom or simulation lab classroom setting. Participate in program faculty meetings. Maintain college standards regarding professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the medical assistant program and Allied Health Occupations department.  

Supervision Received
The dean, in consultation with the Allied Health Occupations Director is responsible for carrying out the evaluation of instructors under procedures developed by the vice president. The dean confers with the department director in decisions regarding instructor workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing levels.
