The High School AT Role—Without the Burnout

Position: Ongoing, Dedicated BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (Hourly W-2 Employment with Benefit Eligibility)

Schedule: Mon–Fri (Afternoons/Evenings) | Zero mornings, holidays, or school breaks

Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 / hour

We Get It. We're ATs, Too.

Most secondary school AT jobs expect you to sacrifice your weekends, your mornings, and your sanity. We don't.

At ATvantage Sports Medicine, we build long-term, predictable high school positions designed to protect your peace.

You get your own dedicated campus, an athletic community to lead, and a leadership team that actually advocates for you. You work autonomously, alongside a strong team of ATvantage ATs in your district.

If you're looking to secure a premier, benefits-eligible placement for the 2026–2027 school year, you just found your launchpad.

The ATvantage Reality Check

  • Your Time is Respected: Monday through Friday, one site assignment - afternoon-to-evening only. When the school closes for breaks and holidays, you go home. No catch.
  • Real Benefits, Actual Stability: Solid W-2 hourly pay ($34–$40/hr), comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision, a 401(k) plan, paid sick time and more.
  • Never on an Island: You aren't just thrown into a high school training room and forgotten. You get direct clinical support from a leadership team that speaks your language (we are ATs too!), plus a massive internal network of fellow ATs.
  • Invested in You: Free CEUs and exclusive MedBridge discounts to keep your skills sharp without emptying your wallet.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Own and operate the athletic training room at your designated high school.
  • Run the show on injury prevention, evaluations, emergency care, and rehab for your student-athletes.
  • Be the trusted, everyday healthcare liaison for coaches, parents, and physicians.
  • Work alongside the academic calendar, prevent burnout, and harness work-life balance!

The Non-Negotiables

  • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in good standing.
  • Current CPR/AED for Healthcare Providers.
  • Mandated Reporter Training

Ready for a Change? Let's Skip the Red Tape.

If you're tired of the traditional AT grind and want a stable, predictable high school home, let's talk.
