Sober Haven Recovery is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our growing team. We provide medical detox and residential treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders in a supportive, client-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions and facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor client progress and communicate with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Assist clients with relapse prevention planning and discharge preparation.
• Maintain compliance with DHCS, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and facility policies.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.
• Provide compassionate support throughout each client's recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Current California CADC, CATC, or equivalent alcohol and drug counseling certification required.
• Experience working in detox, residential, or behavioral health preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment, ASAM criteria, and recovery principles.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
