Tasks

  • Overall responsibility for the U.S. organization, with a focus on sales, business development, marketing and application support
  • Development and execution of a sustainable growth strategy for the North American market in close alignment with international management
  • Expansion of existing customer relationships as well as identification and acquisition of new business opportunities in relevant high-tech and OEM segments
  • Active management of strategic customers, partners, and distributors in a hands-on leadership role
  • Further development and expansion of the local sales organization, including leadership, coaching, and team development
  • Strengthening the company’s market presence, visibility, and positioning in North America
  • Ensuring close collaboration between the U.S. entity and the European headquarters
  • Monitoring market trends, customer requirements, competitive activities, and technological developments


Required profile

Profile

  • Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, and hands-on leader with strong customer focus and a business development mindset. You combine strategic perspective with operational drive and build trust with customers, employees, and stakeholders
  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, physics, metrology, electrical engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of leadership experience in a sales-driven management role
  • Proven track record in business development, market expansion, revenue growth, and strategic customer development in the U.S. market
  • Experience with OEM customers, technical applications, and consultative solution selling
  • Ideally, industry knowledge in metrology, analytical instrumentation, sensing technologies, or related high-tech markets
  • Experience in medium-sized, entrepreneurial structures and developing small to medium-sized teams
  • International experience with European or global organizations would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within North America
