Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team that’s committed to the care and improvement of human life – one surgery at a time.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards 
  • Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care 
  • Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs 
  • Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized 
  • Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries 

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required 
  • Training as Surgical Technologist preferred 
  • Certification/Experience in Sterile Processing preferred 
  • One year  Surgical Technician experience preferred
