This is accomplished by implementing a comprehensive development strategy for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of financial champions of our mission.KEY OBJECTIVESLeadership, Management and Accountability for all Development staff and tasksResponsible to raise annual campaign income per budgetResponsible to manage donor relationships and PEO processResponsible to manage branding, marketing and communications efforts Responsible to manage donor databases and internal dataResponsible to oversee key departments of events, grants, and planned givingResponsible to participate in leadership responsibilities related to the Shared Services Director's TeamSPECIFIC DUTIESResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Development Team LMAEnsure all Development Department Annual Work‑plan and KPI goals are achieved with excellenceEnsure each role has a current job description, training plan, written policies and procedures and annual KPI's, and is in compliance with organizational templateEnsure upcoming fiscal year performance goals are set and recorded in the Annual Review and Refocus Document for each role, for each team memberEnsure annual review and refocus meetings are done for each departmental staff personEnsure all staff are supervised at least twice monthlyDevelop and manage task teams to mobilize volunteers for specific events or tasks as needed Keep departmental expenses under annual budgeted amountMaintain an annually updated Development Plan that is revised and submitted to the ExD by March 30 of each year.Raise Donated IncomeParticipate in setting annual budget goals for the chapterHit annual goals in planned giving for future revenueManage each funding stream of donated income to achieve or exceed budgeted goals Keep departmental expenses under annual budgeted amount to produce targeted net fundsDonor RelationshipsDevelop and implement a comprehensive plan for acquiring new donor prospects through communications, events, grant requests, personal visits, online activities etc. Cultivate prospects and encourage engagement with the mission of COYFC Create awareness of ministry needs including but not limited to financial needsInvite prospects to become donors, volunteers or to participate in other ways best fitting their gifts, capacities and interestsCultivate increasingly positive donor relationships with the mission and staff of YFC Build a vision for donors to become champions of the YFC mission as well as the broader Kingdom missionBranding and MarketingDevelop maintain and execute a marketing plan for COYFCOversee and maintain branding standards for COYFCManage external communications of COYFC including mediaDevelop and maintain print materials to support external communicationsDevelop and execute on a plan for social media, web and electronic communicationsMaintain a high quality database tracking donor activity and donor givingEnsure compliance with organizational policies and best practices for donor receipts and data transfer to the accounting systems from the donor systemsManage web based donor platforms and giving portalsMeet at least once each year to review with the IT manager the security of IT infrastructure with relationship to donor data and to ensure IT support is adequate for the team needsPlanned GiftsExternal CommunicationsDonor RelationsShared Services Directors TeamPrepare for and participate in Management Team meetings as requiredHelp construct departmental budget and performance objectives annuallySubmit strategic initiatives to the budget process as needed to grow Development results Support overall vision and mission of COYFC and intentionally develop an anti‑silo ethos in Development DepartmentSPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIESBecause COYFC and its subsidiaries are a part of the same faith‑based organization and share a faith mission and set of values, we require all employees to consistently apply and live according to the religious mission and theological beliefs.
