The Part-Time Adult Education Instructor provides classroom instruction in reading, language arts, and mathematics during mornings and evenings. They develop curricula, lesson plans, and Individual Learning Plans to support student progress, monitor and evaluate learner achievement, and promote the program within the community. The instructor maintains a secure learning environment, records attendance, and collaborates with volunteers. They communicate student progress, analyze test data to personalize instruction, and recommend process improvements. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field and at least one year of teaching experience, preferably with adults. The role involves working independently under moderate supervision, contributing to staff development, and performing additional duties as needed.
