Job Summary 

The Central Floral Designer will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik’s culture by consistently providing “best in class” service to our guests. The main responsibility as a Central Floral Designer will be to design and create beautiful arrangements on a large scale capacity. You will be joining a team who helps produce and replicate home/floral products for all 18 of our store locations, while also maintaining a clean and safe environment. 

Note: This position will be working 3 days at our Support Center and 2 days at our Mequon store located at 10930 N. Port Washington Rd, Mequon, WI 53092.

Qualifications: 

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of Home equipment 
• Prior experience with plant care and floral design experience is required 
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions, priorities and circumstances 
•  Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure  
•  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment  
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills  
• Ability to make independent decisions regarding department needs and priorities  
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills 
•  Strong sense of urgency, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills 
• Strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the team 
•  Strong computer skills, working knowledge in Microsoft Office product suite and Google Docs  
• Excellent attention to detail  
•  Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills  
• Exceptional customer service skills  
• Ability to accommodate a fluctuating schedule, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts  
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time
