Our Meridian, ID team is looking for a strong, experienced leader to take its growing plasma center to new heights as the Center Director. This position will oversee the center's operations and quality teams to manage the center as a business enterprise. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading a team within a healthcare setting, understand how to drive high quality production growth through key KPIs, and embrace developing high performance teams dedicated to delivering life-saving products.

Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of the Center, including, but not limited to, employees, donor retention, production goals, compliance activities, and financial targets
  • .Responsible for the Quality Assurance program as the senior leader of the Center.
  • Manage and develop center employees at all levels consistent with the company’s core values.
  • Responsible for delivering feedback to employees during daily operation and routine performance reviews.
  • Conduct, direct, and lead training and related developmental activities in support of operational objectives.
  • Recruit donors by promoting the Center within the community; coordinate incentive programs and marketing initiatives with the Corporate Marketing Team.
  • Ensure professional customer service skills, courtesy, and respect from center staff to maximize donor retention
  • Ensure product is collected, stored, and shipped per SOPs.
  • Responsible for maintaining audit readiness related to internal and external audits or inspections; responsible for hosting in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Learns and maintains familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, SOPs, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), and internal procedures.
  • Works in coordination with Field and Quality Operations to manage ongoing Center performance

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years experience in a similar role including managing a multi-person team
  • In-depth knowledge of the human source plasma industry preferred
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Exceptional people leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance through KPIs/analytics
  • Enthusiastic about the opportunity to build innovative and efficient processes
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods for up to four (4) hours at a time.
  • Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Be able to bend, stoop or kneel and climb stairs or ladder.
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to enter a walk-in freezer with a temperature of -40 C for short periods.
  • Specific vision and hearing abilities are required to be successful in the role
