Job Title: CDL Shop Laborer


Description: Power Line Constructors is in search of a diligent, self-motivated individual with a foundational understanding of construction work to join our team as a CDL Shop Laborer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, motivation, and reliability.


Responsibilities: 


·         Performs various physical duties as assigned throughout the workday.
·         Move, secure, install, load, or unload materials as required.
·         Build traffic signals, pedestrian signals, flashing beacons, streetlights, etc...
·         Operate light equipment proficiently, depending on the assignment. Including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
·         Transport items or vehicles from one location to another according to the supervisor’s instructions.
·         Move tools, equipment, or other materials as directed by the supervisor.


Requirements:


·         Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
·         Proficient oral and written communication skills.
·         Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). 
·         Solid understanding of production and construction safety protocols.
·         Must have transportation to get to work.
·         Must work well with others.


Salary: 


·         $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (CDL B)  
·         $23.00 - $27.00 per hour (CDL B, + Tanker Endorsement)
·         $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (CDL B, With No Restrictions + Tanker Endorsement) 
·         $26.00 - $30.00 per hour (CDL A)
·         $27.00 - $31.00 per hour (CDL A + Tanker Endorsement)



Work Location: 


·         Clinton, NY 13323


Schedule:  


·         Day shift (8 AM – 4:30 PM) Monday to Friday
·         Overtime as needed
