SUMMARY:

Join the Arandell Logistics Team as a P.M. Shift CDL Class A OTR Driver! In this vital role, you’ll handle the safe, efficient long-distance transport of commercial print products, primarily serving the Milwaukee and Chicago Metro areas. As the final link in our production chain, you ensure our clients' projects arrive on time while upholding the highest standards of DOT compliance and fleet safety. From performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, managing yard trailer positioning, and ensuring all load documentation and DOT logs are accurately completed, you will be the driving force behind Arandell’s commitment to excellence on every mile of the journey! This opportunity features a competitive rate of $31.85 per hour! (Includes shift premium)

WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE A-TEAM:

  • Obtains proper paperwork and instructions from the supervisor and/or traffic manager prior to the start of their shift.
  • Keeps proper logs as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Stays in constant contact with supervision and/or the traffic manager in transit and upon reaching the destination for further instructions.
  • When the truck is unavailable or not in use, will support the movement of trailers around the yard and facility as required by the supervisor and/or traffic manager.
  • Responsible for the safe and proper operation of company equipment in accordance with all safety rules and regulations, and for maintaining the clean operating condition of the equipment (truck and trailers hygiene)
  • Responsible for equipment daily pre and post-trip inspections and the completion of all compliance and incident reporting documentation.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality on all matters involving the Shipping/Receiving Department and Arandell Corporation.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with all plant and office personnel, including a positive customer relationship approach towards all associates, visitors, customers, and vendors.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Class A Wisconsin Driver License in good standing and a current medical card.
  • Requires knowledge of DOT rules and safe driving history.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in tractor/trailer.
  • Must be familiar with the Milwaukee and Chicago metropolitan areas
