This position provides classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction to students preparing for successful careers in commercial transportation. The majority of behind-the-wheel and skills training will be conducted in the Roanoke, Virginia area, allowing instructors to work directly with students in a dynamic, hands-on training environment.

Position Responsibilities:
CDL Instructor for the Commercial Driver's License program is a full-time (12 month - 40 hours per week) non-credit faculty position in the Workforce Solutions & Community Education (WSCE) division. The position reports to the CDL Program Head. The position is responsible for providing training to CDL students.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
