Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL truck with Moffett Forklift attachment for loading and unloading freight.
- Transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Assist in loading and unloading freight as needed, ensuring proper handling and care of all items.
- Participate in ongoing training and safety programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating a Moffett Forklift.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
